This Monocoupe 110 was originally sold to the U. S. Department of Commerce in February 1933.   Registered as NS 42, it was later sold and re-registered as NC 18642.   It was maintained and flown by several owners until damaged about 1970.   It was subsequently purchased by Don Schmidt and restored as a Monocoupe 110 Special with a clipped wing.   It has recently been donated for permanent display at the  Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum.
